Dainty puka shell anklet with seaglass closure
$53.00
Puka shells are so magical π They begin their life as cone shells in the ocean. Many other sea creatures feed on cone shells. The shells get worn down by the waves and the last part to survive is the cap. As it spends more time in the surf a hole appears. Puka means βholeβ. If you look at the inside of the cap you can still see the spiral. Spirals are here to remind us of the persistence of life.
I have strung these puka shells on strong nylon cord. The closure is made with a piece of seaglass. It measures 9 1/2 inches. This anklet is mermaid friendly (waterproof), you can wear it in the shower and the sea.
