Hawaiian Kupe'e shell bracelet with puka and cowrie lip clasp

Beautiful black Kupe’e from the Island of Molokai.
This kupe’e bracelet measures a size 7 1/4 on my bracelet mandrel. It measures 9 inches flat. I have a 6 1/2 inch wrist and I can still wear this loose but it does not fall off. The shells have been meticulously graduated in size, strung on hand braided artificial sinew, with a lovely puka shell and cowrie lip clasp. It is 5/8 inches wide at its widest point. It is very sturdy and makes a lovely sound when you wear it.
