Hawaiian pontifical miter shell necklace

This is a Hawaiian pontifical miter shell from the secluded beaches of the Island of Molokai. We find very few of these. It hangs on hand braided artificial sinew with puka shells and has my signature locking seaglass clasp. Mermaid friendly, it can be worn in the shower or the sea. The miter shell measures 1 3/8 inches long. The sinew measures 18 inches.

We do not find many miter shells so I consider this rare. It is a beautiful specimen.
